About VisionSafe: 

VisionSafe Corporation is the inventor, manufacturer and distributor of EVAS, the Emergency Vision Assurance System. EVAS is the only FAA-certified cockpit smoke displacement system available. It provides a clear space of air through which a pilot can see flight instruments and out of the windshield in order to safely land the aircraft in a cockpit smoke emergency. VisionSafe Corporation has delivered over 7000 EVAS systems. We are the leader in providing pilots with a clear solution when confronted with dense blinding smoke in a continuous smoke emergency. In order to meet our customers training requirements, VisionSafe offers simulator training with FlightSafety International and CAE. VisionSafe Corporation has been honored with several awards including, Paris Air Show Product of the Year, Suppliers of the Year Award given by Gulfstream demonstrating superior performance in engineering, quality, reliability, delivery and product support and Aerospace Industry Award for Safety.

Chris Skurat, Director of Sales, Business Aviation, VisionSafe

Chris joined VisionSafe in 2019 and serves as the Director of Sales for Business Aviation. He previously had a 25-year tenure at AMSTAT from 1995 until 2019 as their Director of Sales & Customer Service. Prior to joining AMSTAT, Chris worked at Hilton Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

While new to his role focused on aviation safety, Chris has quickly developed relationships with aircraft manufacturers, operators, and service providers who are also safety-driven. He is utilizing concerns, needs, and testimonies regarding aviation safety to further his advocacy of this vital initiative in our industry. Chris is also using this as an opportunity to receive firsthand knowledge and is in the process of beginning his lifelong dream of obtaining his private pilot’s license.

Chris has always been an active and visible member of the business aviation community. He previously served on the board of the National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA), the Education Committee for the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA), and the HAI Finance and Leasing Committee. Chris is also a current member of the Wings Club Foundation.

Chris received his BA in Economics with a concentration in Accounting & Statistics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
