ASG ANNOUNCES DASSAULT AVIATION AS CORNERSTONE ASGVEC OEM

HONG KONG, July 28, 2021 — Asian Sky Group (ASG) today announced that Dassault Aviation, manufacturer of the iconic Falcon line of industry-leading business jets, will be its cornerstone OEM exhibitor for the upcoming Asian Sky Group Virtual Exhibition & Conference (ASGVEC) with its own “Falcon World” virtual showroom complete with an 8X and 6X on static display available for showings.

Set to take place between September 14th and September 16th, 2021, ASGVEC will be the first business aviation event to be set in a fully immersive 3D virtual world. It has been designed to mimic the experience that attendees would get if they were to visit an in-person event, including exhibition halls, stands, booths, and a static display of aircraft. Attendees can interact with exhibitors and other attendees thanks to a unique webcam and spatial sound system, which brings to the event a level of interaction that has never been seen before.

“With ASG, Mytaverse and the ASGVEC event, we saw an opportunity to present our Falcon jets to customers and prospects across the Asia-Pacific even though there are still many challenges to international travel in the region. With “Falcon World” we can arrange showings no matter where the prospect is and then join them in the aircraft for a guided tour.” - said Jean-Michel Jacob, President of Dassault Aviation, Asia-Pacific.

Dassault will work alongside Asian Sky Group and GathR Virtual Studios Inc., the designers of Mytaverse which will be used for ASGVEC, to create its own stunning world at ASGVEC. As well as its own uniquely designed space, Dassault Aviation will also display the 8X and 6X Falcon models of its line of business jets. These displays will be true to life, photo-realistic 3D models which allow Dassault staff and their guests to fully immerse themselves via avatars into the aircraft and have real-time interactions using their webcams.  To assist in achieving this, Dassault will supply its own internal aircraft data files to Mytaverse who will then precisely recreate the aircraft inside the Mytraverse platform right down to the double stitching in the seats.

“The collaboration with Dassault at ASGVEC presents us with a unique opportunity to work with one of the global leaders in the use of 3D, detail-rich models. We feel this will then be an opportunity to prove our concept and establish Mytaverse as a leader in hybrid work spaces,” said Kenneth Landau, CEO and Co-Founder, Mytaverse.

Dassault Aviation has been an early supporter of the ASGVEC event, having been heavily involved with 3D and virtual reality concepts for many years. The CATIA 3D computer-aided design software that was developed by its sister company Dassault Systems, is now widely used across the industry, and the company frequently trains its maintenance technicians using virtual reality technology.

“To give Dassault full credit, they grasped the potential of the Mytaverse platform immediately.” said Jeffrey C. Lowe, CEO of Asian Sky Group, and Asian Sky Media. “We then set about to satisfy all the elements that working together virtually would entail including cybersecurity, GDPR, and IPR. I’m eager to see “Falcon World” and stroll down the aisle of the 6X.”

Registration for ASGVEC is complementary. To find out more, register for the event, or enquire about exhibiting.
