It has been a long time since any of us have been able to get in front of customers and suppliers in Asia. The last time would have been at ABACE 2019 – more than two years ago!
Alternatives to in-person events have failed in the past, and most people now switch off as soon as they hear the word ‘virtual’. Who can blame them? Previous attempts to recreate the in-person experience have failed because they lack the real-world interactions that you get at a trade show or conference.
This is where ASGVEC is different and why companies like yours are signing up to exhibit at the event.
It would be impossible in a short email to explain all of the reasons why ASGVEC is different from all other virtual events you have attended. But as a taster, here is a snippet of a conversation I had with a large company that signed up to exhibit shortly after I finished a demo with them:
Them: "OK great. So, when someone comes to the booth, we can talk to them via the text chat and then arrange to hop on a Zoom or Teams call.”
Me: “No, there’s no need for Zoom or Teams as that functionality is built right into ASGVEC. When a visitor comes to your booth you can start a webcam conversation with them directly. The webcam feed shows up in front of their avatar. The platform is completely self-contained, there’s no need to use any external programs to do anything. Everything you would want or need to do can be done directly inside ASGVEC.”
This is normally the 'light bulb' moment, as it truly demonstrates just how interactive ASGVEC is.
As well as having face-to-face meetings, there are other interactive features of the platform. The Standard booth includes an upstairs area where a presentation can be given. Private board rooms are also available where up to 20 people can meet privately for a presentation or discussion.
