Don’t miss your chance to meet VistaJet, Universal & More!

As it is just 26 days until the start of the Asian Sky Group Virtual Exhibition and Conference (ASGVEC), I thought it was time for a quick update.

Preparations for ASGVEC are going well, with the newest version of the software the event is built on rolling out as I type. This will be finished off over the weekend and will bring with it many improvements.

These include updated avatars, and more importantly, spatial sound. This works in a very similar way to how you hear voices in real life - the closer you are to somebody, the louder you can hear them. This works especially well in the exhibition halls, as previously you could hear all conversations.

Another new feature is a training guide before you enter ASGVEC. Although a user guide will be pre-loaded into the digital briefcase of each attendee, we felt that a quick training session right at the start of ASGVEC would be a great way of ensuring that attendees are able to navigate it quickly and easily.

We had paused doing demos for potential new exhibitors last week, as we knew that the new version would be coming soon. Once it has finished rolling out we will be able to catch up with the demos that we put on hold.

That is why more than 1400 people have signed up to attend ASGVEC so far, and more than 45 companies have booked exhibition space.

As ASGVEC is a virtual event, we won’t be running out of space, so there is still time to enquire about exhibiting. So far we have well over 1,000 attendees signed up, so don’t miss your chance to meet them face-to-face with the innovative ASGVEC interactive webcam feature.

This works directly inside ASGVEC itself and is activated by a simple press of a button. Once pressed the webcam is projected slightly in front of the avatar’s head, so it really is like having a face-to-face conversation. This is one of the key features of ASGVEC, as it means that everything you would want to do can be achieved inside the exhibition, as it is entirely self-contained.
