Louis Leong, Vice President Regional Operations Asia, Jet Aviation (Asia Pacific) Pte. Ltd.

Louis Leong is the Vice President South East Asia and General Manager for Singapore at Jet Aviation. An aviation professional with over 30 years of industry experience, Leong is a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer and has a deep understanding of the Asian civil and military aviation sector.

He started his career in engineering with SIA Engineering Company and business development and training roles at ST Aerospace before embarking on various leadership roles at the former Hawker Pacific including Vice President for Asia. Leong has extensive knowledge and experience in organizational training for safety and compliance operations and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO).

At Jet Aviation, Leong oversees the strategic planning, finance, operations, sales and customer initiatives for South East Asia. He also manages the Singapore Service Centre MRO and FBO sales and operations which include government and military tender projects.

Leong oversees more than 300 employees at Jet Aviation Asia Pacific office in Seletar Airport and sits on the Asian Business Aviation Association Board of Governors (AsBAA) and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Aerospace Engineers. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.

Matthew Woollaston, Vice President Completions Sales, Jet Aviation

Matthew Woollaston is Vice President Completion Sales for Jet Aviation. An aviation professional with over 35 years of industry experience, he has held a broad range of roles in the airline MRO and Business Aircraft refurbishment and completions sectors. For the last 12 years, Woollaston has been dedicated to the sales, marketing and interior design elements of the global VIP aviation market.

Woollaston joined Jet Aviation in March 2014 as Director of Completion Sales and Market Development. In 2015 he accepted the role of Vice President Completions Sales, Marketing and Design overseeing global sales and marketing activities for the Completions business. He has been instrumental in securing a number of large aircraft refurbishment and completions contracts for the center, and in contributing to the ongoing strategic growth of the completions operation.

Prior to his appointment in Basel, Woollaston worked with New Zealand-based Altitude Aerospace Interiors, where he successfully led the company’s VIP Completions Business for five years. During his time at Altitude, Woollaston secured completions contracts from around the world, contributed to quickly establishing a solid foothold for the start-up organisation in the highly competitive global completions market.

Woollaston is also a licensed aircraft engineer and holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Auckland.

Carlos Gomez, Senior Director, Jet Aviation Business Jets HK and Singapore

Carlos Gomez was appointed Senior Director Aircraft Management for Asia Pacific with Jet Aviation in February 2021, bringing more than 30 years of industry experience in both the commercial and business aviation sectors that include British Airways, Iberia and United Airlines across Europe, USA and Asia.

Based in Hong Kong, Gomez is responsible for aircraft management within the region with a focus on enhancing customer-centricity and the global experience. He also supports Jet Aviation’s various lines of businesses across Asia Pacific and works closely with the regional FBOs and MRO locations to provide an integrated service offering to customers. He oversees a team of over 100 employees and crew in aircraft management and private charter in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Prior to joining Jet Aviation, Gomez held several key positions with TAG Aviation, including Chief Operations Officer UK and Chief Executive Officer Asia. Gomez holds a Master of Business Administration degree from IESE Madrid – Navarra University and a Bachelor of Business and Economics degree from the University of Somosaguas, Madrid, Spain.

Solange Amouroux, GM, Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Center

Solange Amouroux-Berthe was appointed General Manager of Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Center in October 2020. She is responsible for the day-to-day management operations, implementation and development of strategy for the Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Center.

Amouroux-Berthe started her career at Dassault Aviation in 2001 as a Production Engineer for Mirage aircrafts. She held several key R&D positions within the company, specializing in prototypes and environmentally friendly technologies, before joining customer support, and holding the role of ATA Specialist Manager and Field Technical Representative. Prior to joining Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Center, Amouroux-Berthe was Industrial Manager for Mäder Group in Shanghai, China.

Born in Paris, Amouroux-Berthe has worked in France, Germany, United States America, Russia and China. She holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Aeronautics) degree with honors from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal (Canada), a Master of Aeronautics & Aerospace Engineering degree from EPF, Ecole d’ingenieurs (France) and a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from University of Delaware (USA).
