Phil Balmer, Director Maintenance, TAG Aviation
Mr. Phil Balmer is Director Maintenance for TAG Aviation Asia. He has over 30 years of experience in aviation, and is a Licensed Engineer holding Australia, EASA, and FAA A&P certificates, with ratings on multiple types of business aircraft including Bombardier, Cessna Citation, Dassault Falcon, and Gulfstream.
Prior to joining TAG Aviation in 2010, Phil worked in Corporate Aviation Maintenance in Brisbane, Australia, and then for Jet Aviation in various roles in Singapore, Dubai, and Malaysia. Phil is a member on various industry customer committees, is Chairman of the Hong Kong Chapter of the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA), and is also a Multi-engine, instrument rated Pilot.
Simon Bambridge, Commercial Director, Asia, TAG Aviation
Simon has more than 20 years’ experience in the aviation industry, primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. Simon’s aviation career commenced in 2000 working in Business Development and Commercial roles with one of the world’s leading ab initio pilot training businesses based out of Adelaide, Australia. Simon joined TAG Aviation Asia in 2010 in a customer service role and he has since held various positions including Head of Customer Service, Director of Aircraft Management and his current position of Commercial Director. In his current role Simon has overall responsibility for business development for the aircraft management business as well as responsibility for the newly established “Advisory” line of business where TAG provides support and advice to Clients about aircraft sales, acquisitions, registrations options, ownership and operating structures.
Rita Tam, General Manager, TAG Aviation (Macau)
Rita Tam is General Manager, TAG Macau FBO. She responsible for the operation and growth of the FBO services in Macau. The TAG Macau FBO aims to provide the unique seamless aviation service to all customers coming to and from Macau.
Rita has over 18 years FBO experience and has started her business aviation career in Hong Kong Business Aviation Center since 2002. Prior to joining TAG Aviation Asia, Rita was Director of Customer Relations in Hong Kong Business Aviation Center where she was responsible for overall flight servicing, ground operation, overseeing security program to ensure compliant with the aviation security requirements and ICAO standards.
Andria Chang, Group Marketing Director, TAG Aviation
Andria joined TAG Aviation in 2020 to lead the global marketing team from Hong Kong. In her role thus far, she has led the revamp of TAG Aviation’s branding system and launched the new corporate website. Prior to TAG, Andria spent six years at Axcess Worldwide, a boutique marketing and partnership agency with a venture capital arm, as Vice President of Partnership Development/Client Service. In that capacity she opened up the Hong Kong office in 2014, and successfully led large projects for clients such as the Las Vegas Sands Group, Marina Bay Sands, American Express, and Audemars Piguet. Before her career in marketing, Andria was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, successfully executing IPOs and M&A transactions totaling over $1billion for Fortune 500 companies such as Amgen and Cooper Industries. Andria has an EMBA from the Kellogg School of Management and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a BS from the Haas School of Business, at the University of California, Berkeley.
